La technologie transforme nos vies quotidiennes, notre rapport au travail, à la communication, et même au corps et à la maternité. L'enjeu économique, politique, social et culturel de la "maîtrise des nouvelles technologies" est de taille : deviendront-elles un outil de libéralisation du commerce, doublé d'une structure de contrôle et de surveillance ou un formidable espace de création, de diffusion, d'information et un outil d'égalité et de participation culturelle au développement international ?
Ni colloque, ni forum, Digitales sont des journées continues de travail pratique et théorique, organisées dans un lieu-matrice de formation professionnelle de femmes et d'autres lieux physiques et virtuels, qui ouvrent un nouvel espace de réflexion et de création, d'appropriation et d'autonomie, de mémoire et de découverte.
S'il est important d'attirer les femmes - et les rêves des jeunes filles - vers les sciences et les technologies pour qu'elles manipulent l'outil technologique, il ne faut pas qu'il devienne leur nouvel instrument d'aliénation.

- De opkomst van de nieuwe technologieën beïnvloedt onze verhouding tot werk, tot communicatie en zelfs tot moederschap. Maar als het belangrijk is dat vrouwen deze technologieën leren gebruiken, mag het geen nieuw instrument van vervreemding worden. Ze kunnen immers een nieuwe ruimte voor reflectie en creatie openen. We nodigen U uit om op basis van het rijke aanbod aan workshops, projectpresentaties, voorstelling van onderzoeksresultaten, lezingen, informele ontmoetingen en feestelijke momenten uw eigen programma samen te stellen.

The impact of technology transforms our daily lives, our relationship with our work, with communications and even with maternity. The economic, social and cultural issue of “mastering the new technologies” is serious : will they become a tool for the liberalisation of trade, doubled with a structure for control and supervision or a formidable place for creativity, information and a tool for equality and cultural participation in international development ? Neither conference, nor forum, Digitales are continuous days of practical and theoretical work, organised in a matrix-place for women’s vocational training and in other physical and virtual places, opening a new space for thinking and creating, appropriation and autonomy, memory and discovery. If it is important to attract women - and girls’ dreams - towards sciences and technologies for women to handle these tools, they must not become a new way of alienation for them.
